DAY 137:

Did You Invite God in?
You have not been given a spirit of fear, but of love, and of power, and of a sound mind!!

“For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind,” (2 Timothy 1:7).

Did You Invite God in?
He will give you rest!

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest,” (Matthew 11:28).

Did You Invite God in?
His strength is made perfect in our weakness!!

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness…,” (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Did You Invite God in?
His yoke is easy and His burden is light..

“For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light,” (Matthew 11:30).

Did You Invite God in?
You are more than a conqueror!!

“… in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us,” (Romans 8:37).

Did You Invite God in?
You are an overcomer because of who is living inside of you!!

“Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world,” (1 John 4:4).

Did You Invite God in?
Be still and know that He is GOD!!

“Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth,” (Psalm 46:10).

Did You Invite God in?
He works ALL things out for your good!

“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose,” (Romans 8:28).

“There is no question that God is standing with arms wide open to receive us, the questions is, are we inviting Him in every area of our life?? He will not enter forcefully, but it is His desire to be intimate and involved in our lives… not just on Sunday or at Bible study, or after we have exhausted all other “options,” but in every breath we take and move we make, He wants to be our FIRST love and not just an option!!

Did you invite God into your day?

In this generation, there is a greater deception than ever before that self dependency, sufficiency, and reliance is what makes us successful and popular on the social and economic ladder. However, I have noticed it also leads to a greater amount of self pity and self destruction. Why? Because, expectation, hope, love, and what seemingly creates success, in ourselves, rather than in GOD, who is the perfect embodiment of LOVE & Victory Himself!!

We see an increase in people who want to mentor, train, coach, and teach people one day, and then are depressed the next day. This angers me, because I know the devil is stealing, killing, and destroying on the battlefield of their minds.. We know he brings oppositions and challenges, and that is why I teach more about the relationship and intimacy with God than anything else! Nothing is more important to me than the relationship. My confidence has never been in religion or myself.. it has always been in JESUS and the Word of God!! Apart from Him, we can truly do nothing!! Today, choose to put all of your love, faith, and hope in God and find rest and peace in the promises of His unfailing love, and renew your mind in His Word that never returns void..!!” David E. Taylor
