It is not always a popular subject, nonetheless, it is a necessary one. That subject is, maturing in the Spirt. It can’t happen if there is no surrender and willingness to be discipled, instructed, and trained, in love and correction.

 While there is an extreme level of balking God’s order, reign, and rule in America, it is still His plan! There has been a tremendous amount of leaders and laymen alike in the Body of Christ who have passively denied the order of God and have allowed an Americanized, carnal, and worldly system to infiltrate His House.  

Envy, strife, and division are commonplace in many church circles. It is interesting that Paul pairs these character qualities with babes in Christ, and yet we see it coming from people that are leading congregations and are considered to be “leaders in the faith” that millions of people searching for God, follow after. 

Isn’t that sad?! The world’s perspective has become the trend in the church. Who is the popular pastor, according to the “exit” polls?? Who is the “up and coming” preacher, teacher, and encourager with the most people in their pews and audiences? It doesn’t matter that they lack dominion, power, and glory, because they are operating as the world does and not the way that spiritually mature men and women of God do. 

It is time for the Body of Christ to grow up and truly mature in love and in complete surrender to the Savior!
