DAY 232:

“God’s character and heart toward us is so perfectly good!

‘And therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you, and therefore will he be exalted, that he may have mercy upon you: for the Lord is a God of judgment: blessed are all they that wait for him,’ (Isaiah 30:18).

Too often, we tend to believe that God is waiting to do things because he is delaying or even denying something we desire or think we need. However, this scripture points out so clearly that He waits because He desires to be gracious. How amazingly kind is that? Everything God does has divine purpose and your best interest in mind, and that includes purpose in His timing! His compassions for you never fail..

If you don’t understand the beauty of waiting on God, the devil will occupy you with defeated thoughts and a wrong mindset. Waiting on God is another way of expressing our love and trust that He is indeed in control, He is more than enough, and we are confident in the beauty of the Lord’s promise that… when we wait on Him… we are BLESSED..!”
