DAY 228:

Many people think that, as a Christian, if you stand up against a spirit of self-pity you are being insensitive.. Let me be very clear.. A spirit of self-pity is not from God!! If we are Christians and following Christ’s pattern, we should be confronting this spirit that is actually killing people and keeping them from abundant life and from fulfilling their divine destiny. Having unsanctified mercy is also not from God’s Kingdom.

People, God is calling you to wake up from your deceptions and wake up to the vastness of who HE is and the VICTORY He predestined for you and those you love to walk in.

‘The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly,’ (John 10:10).

Don’t get angry when the spirits that are deceiving you and others are being confronted so deliverance can take place! LOVE Confronts Deception!! The devil is dirty.. he’s weak.. he is a loser.. and he wants you to be so focused on and magnify the things that have hurt or disappointed you, more than the ONE who can deliver you in an instant!! Satan’s sole purpose is to keep you deceived so he can destroy your abundant life!

‘But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?’ (James 2:20).

Your faith without YOUR works is dead.. Your Life and death are in the power of YOUR tongue!! Saints, you must take responsibility and DO!! The devil robs you every time he can get your focus on your troubles and your pains.. He keeps you blindly wallowing in self-pity and ultimately rejecting the love and deliverance God has freely given you through Jesus.

‘Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things,’ (Philippians 4:8).

‘In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you,’ (1 Thessalonians 5:18).

God never told you to feel sorry for yourself or magnify your pain, hurt, and disappointments!! HE said, “be thankful in all things!” Thankfulness can’t produce the fruit of self-pity or depression..
