“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding” (Proverbs 3:5).

Over the years, I have encountered many people that confess that they trust God with everything, yet they still lean on their own understanding and plan, and go through things they were never meant to. Don’t get me wrong, I know that we all have to go through a wilderness period, but it is in those wilderness moments that we need to fully trust and rely on God and His Holy Spirit!! It seems so easy to say you trust God when it comes to things that seem obvious and very clear. However, what about those things that seem obscured and not so clear? What about when you don’t know and you really need to acknowledge, trust, and lean on God with ALL your heart, mind, and soul? Can you let go of doing it your way and lean on Him?

“In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil” (Proverbs 3:6-7).

To lean on God and trust Him with ALL that you are and all that concerns you, does not make you weak, it makes you strong!! It makes you wise!! It makes the crooked places in your life straight!! When you completely trust in God and lean on Him your love and faith in Him are exemplified, therefore you are pleasing Him!! After all, apart from Him, we can do NOTHING..!”
