Think about the tremendous things that faith caused the men and women of old to accomplish and to receive from God!! By faith, Abel offered a more excellent offering than Cain, Enoch’s faith gave him a walk with God that he did not see death, and he pleased God! By faith, and godly fear, Noah prepared an ark and saved his household and became an heir of righteousness..  Abraham’s faith was imputed to him as righteousness.. By faith the walls of Jericho fell down! By faith Rahab did not perish with unbelievers, because in peace, she received the spies. By faith, Jesus healed every sick person in the massive crowds that gathered to hear Him.

We spend so much time praying, but rarely do we pray how Jesus did for Peter! Jesus said he prayed for Peter’s faith not to fail and for him to also strengthen his brethren!

“But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren” (Luke 22:32).

Friends, this is how we ought to pray for each other! Pray that faith does not fail!! Pray that unbelief does not come in through the sifting of the enemy, and destroy intimacy and relationship between God and man..!!” ~David E. Taylor~
