DAY 132:

If honor opens the heavens over your life, a lack of honor closes them.

“And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works? Is not this the carpenter’s son? is not his mother called Mary? and his brethren, James, and Joses, and Simon, and Judas? And his sisters, are they not all with us? Whence then hath this man all these things? And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house. And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief,” (Matthew 13:54-58).

Jesus wanted to do greater and mightier miracles in Nazareth, but because of their unbelief, they dishonored who Jesus was and what He could do in their lives. When you have honor, it helps you value what you have and causes God to increase its value. I have made a point to minister on honor for many years, because as we honor the Lord, more and more, and truly develop a culture of honor, we make way for God to do more for us. Honor is a financial system with God, and the more honor we develop, the more transactions we can make and the more we will receive from Him! Many have taken on and developed a culture of dishonor and therefore have closed the heavens over their lives. If you have done that by mishandling or dishonoring people that God has sent to deliver you, repent today!

You don’t have to remain defeated because of your dishonor. You can be redeemed through repentance, and receive the greater and mightier things that God has hidden in people around you, as you develop a heart of love, honor, and understanding! It is not too late for you..!!” David E. Taylor
