DAY 130:

“Through it ALL, LOVE remains!! It is time to get back to the firm #Foundation

“Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye,” (Colossians 3:13).

Quoting scriptures about love seems so “popular,” but God has not simply called us to quote them or know where they are in the Bible, He wants them to be in our hearts and for us to master love.. to let love truly rule and reign in our hearts.. not only when we “feel” happy and “in love,” but at ALL times.

Sadly, over time, loving less has become the acceptable norm among saints and in the church, but it is not so with God. After all, He is LOVE.. it was His unfailing and eternal love that sent Jesus, the only one without sin, to the Cross to stand in the gap and redeem us, the whole world, of our sins. Jesus did not say, “they hurt me too much to forgive them,” or “how many times do I have to forgive them Father?” He did not say, “why should I forgive them.. they have not been faithful to me..” See, through it all, LOVE remains.

The church at large has often skirted around love and forgiveness, and although they touch on it, they don’t pursue to LIVE it.. We see it happening in the Body of Christ on a daily basis. People get offended because their feelings get hurt, or they are disappointed about expectations that do not happen… then their feelings dictate their love and their obedience to God’s Word, to love one another and to forgive. You can’t do one without the other and be in obedience!!

If we are living, moving, and having our being in Christ, then mastering love should be our first choice!! I encourage all of you to call in and order my MP3 teachings on mastering love and mercy!! If you mention this post, today only, you can get both MP3 messages for $15!! These messages will awaken your heart to really want to be more like Jesus and remain in love and mercy at all times, NO MATTER WHAT..!!” David E. Taylor
