DAY 123:

“Is God’s Truth Information or a Person to You?

If this seems to be a “different” question to you, keep reading!

Until you mature in the heart and ways of God, you will see truth as information that often leads you into making a judgment or an accusation, determining if someone or something is right or wrong. This happens when you are more concerned with the sins of the flesh than you are with the sins of the spirit.

“Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment,” (John 7:24).

If you stay immature, you can be deceived by truth and by scripture, because you cannot skillfully handle it. However, when you mature, your main concern and heart wants to find out who God is with!! When you want to know this, it shows that you are seeking God’s righteousness, not man’s. The point is, there is no information or truth you have heard that is like GOD.. There is no wisdom, no counsel, no righteousness, no truth, or anything else above Him. When you get to this point and approach, “truth” becomes a person to you and not information that religiously influences God’s righteousness.

“For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness,” (Romans 1:18).

“I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,” (Isaiah 46:9).

People of God, this is not the time to chance your understanding over God’s righteousness!! Many have prematurely assessed others as being right or wrong because of what they could see outwardly, and found themselves on the wrong side of God. Don’t let that person be you!! It is time to mature in the ways and heart of God and realize that there is none like Him and there never will be.. Wherever your heart is rooted is where your growth and fruit will be.. in God’s righteousness or your own..!!” David E. Taylor
