DAY 121:

“Remember, whatever is in your heart, eventually comes out.. in word or manifestations!!

“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9).

Have you ever noticed yourself change toward someone after a situation or certain circumstances took place? Maybe you were in a long term friendship with someone, they were promoted, and then they had to correct you over a work related incident. Did that bother you?? Did it cause you to feel rejected in your friendship, and therefore your response was executed from an offended heart, rather than from an understanding one?

“… for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh,” (Matthew 12:34).

You can be friends with someone “forever” and if certain situations or circumstances never take place throughout your relationship, you will never know the depths or capabilities of how your heart will respond. I have seen many relationships break-up or end, because there was a lack of the true understanding of love. Instead of dealing with one another in love, their feelings and emotions charted the course of their relationship, and therefore the failure of it as well.

The heart is desperately wicked… You can go on and on living life thinking, “I would never do this or that,” only to find out, that when certain components present themselves all at the same time, you do “this and that!!” Friends, guard your heart!! Stay in love with Love! Get rooted in the fruit of the Spirit and learn to discern the heart you need, to overcome your flesh, feelings, and emotions, that if overlooked, will threaten the relationships God has predestined or ordained to last..!!” David E.
