A bib is a piece of cloth or clothing that attaches around the back of the neck and hangs from the front of the neck covering the chest. A bib is worn to protect an individual’s garments from spilled food. Bibs are most commonly used by infants and young children. A paper bib may be used at a dentist’s office to protect the patient’s clothing. During an x-ray, a lead bib is placed on a patient’s chest to prevent radiation. Dreaming of a bib could represent cleanliness and a covering.
Positive: Wearing a bib in a dream could represent protection, supernatural intervention, or a covering. A bib could represent being proactive. A lead bib could represent protection from an attack or protection from sin spreading to other areas of an individual’s life or ministry. A paper bib could represent the washing of one’s mouth or tongue with the Word of God.
Negative: Dreaming of a bib may represent immaturity, carelessness, a childlike mindset, or unclean spirit. Dreaming of a paper bib could represent a weak covering or protection in one’s life. Dreaming of a baby eating with no bib and making a mess could indicate a person who makes reckless decisions and/or is immature in their spiritual walk.
