Dreaming of Centipedes:

Centipedes are venomous predators. They are actually myriapods, making them distant cousins to insects. Its most notable feature is their elongated body and dozens of legs, an obvious feature that separates them from insects. The word centipede means “hundred feet,” but there aren’t any centipede species that have exactly 100 legs. They may have as few as 30 and as many as 354 when mature.

The Interpretation:

Positive: Dreaming of centipedes crawling away from you could represent repentance. It could also represent God giving you victory over spiritual attacks and spiritual death.

Centipedes are venomous, but they don’t have the strength to pierce human skin, so God could be showing you that “No weapon formed against you shall prosper..” (Isaiah 54:17).

Negative: Dreaming of a centipede on you or near you, could represent secret faults, deception, lust, selfishness, and spiritual deadness. It could represent impurity, abomination, and a lack of repentance indicating a broken and inconsistent relationship with God. It could also represent a lack of faith and trust in God.

Wisdom:
If you are dreaming of a centipede around you, God is exposing faults and secret faults that you are aware of but haven’t repented of. You may not know how bad that fault can become, because it seems so “small,” but the “little things” become big things and ultimately lead to destruction. It’s the LITTLE foxes that spoil the vine (Song of Solomon 2:15)!

God is showing you still have the opportunity to repent because He wants you to be persevered and victorious! So be zealous and repent! Ask God to give you a clean heart and for His grace to overcome the “small” faults that could become detrimental in the future.
