DAY 74:

“The Holy Spirit empowers you to overcome the lusts of the flesh..

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law,” (Galatians 5:22-23).

There is a battle between your flesh and spirit. Therefore, if you do not receive the Holy Spirit and allow Him to show you were you lack His character and traits, you will find your flesh defeating your spirit, and do things you wish you didn’t. The Holy Spirit helps you overcome the weaknesses, temptations, jealousies, and obsessions of the flesh..

Living by the flesh will keep you entangled in battling, competing, dismissing, accusing, judging, refusing, belittling, and so many more contentious things against others. Which leads to nothing more than destroying each other, contradicting God’s vision and purpose for us to work together.

“But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another,” (Galatians 5:15).

My friends, let the Holy Spirit and the fruits be developed in you! Start today! Remember, it is a war, so you must be ready for the contradictions against the spirit to come, but also remember you can and will overcome when the fruit is developed within your heart and character!!

“For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would, (Galatians 5:17).

For example, if you pray that God will teach you patience… Get ready for things to come, through people you love and even people that hate you, that will challenge your character and cause you to endure and develop patience. You will find that there will be challenges and tests in developing each fruit, but it is learning to master God’s LOVE that will bring you into overcoming and triumphant victory..!”
