DAY 71:

“God’s Faithfulness is GREAT unto You!

“It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness,” (Lamentations 3:22-23).

I sense there are many reading this today that have been going through some things. Job loss, sickness, death, rejection, abandonment, heartbreak, and divorce, just to name a few. The devil would like for you to only be able to see the pain, hurt, and struggle you are currently facing, rather than seeing God’s mercy, compassion, and faithfulness to perfect all that concerns you.

“The Lord will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O Lord, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands,” (Psalm 138:8).

The devil is subtly blinding and deceiving people, especially when they are in seasons where it seems they can’t naturally see the evidence of God’s presence. The Bible says that Jesus will never leave nor forsake you. Nothing can separate you from His unfailing love.

“… for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee,” (Hebrews 13:5).

God’s faithfulness to you doesn’t stop because you experience hardships. In fact, if you can learn to see God in everything, you will learn to be at peace even in the midst of the storms, because He is truly with you. Remember, it was while we were yet sinners that He loved us and sent His Son to save us!! He has not changed!!

I encourage you to sing “Great is Thy Faithfulness” unto the Lord.. and encourage yourself in His promises, because when you truly believe in His faithfulness, you will understand that He is always singing, “Great is My faithfulness unto you!”

Great in this context means: abundant, abound – exceedingly enough, plenteous, suffice… My friends, this is how the Father’s faithfulness is, unto you and I..!”
