DAY 63:

Have you considered people to be your enemy because they are telling you truth that upsets your feelings?

Most people do not want to be acknowledged for their errors or mistakes, especially after having been taught right from wrong. Of course we have seen this happen amid the COVID restrictions and stay at home orders. Despite the many warnings, people, including Christians, still went out and some fell victim to the sickness, because they chose to do the opposite of what was said. You see, even when people are knowledgeable, if their desires to submit is not stronger than their heart to resist, they will do their own thing and be mad at the people who tell the truth that confronted their temptation.

“Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?” (Galatians 4:16)

COVID is just one example that we see taking place in the natural. There are also scenarios that occur within the Body of Christ. Over the years, I have seen people come to an understanding of God’s word, ways, and requirements, but when the pressure was put on them in those areas to respond right or wrong, they quickly dismissed and deserted the knowledge and understanding they needed so they would not perish!

People of God, every day we are given opportunities to respond the way that God not only desires, but requires us to. To do that, we must become submitted, rooted, and grounded in His love and seek Him like never before to know His heart and ways, so we can obey Him.. not just by outward actions, but from a surrendered and loving heart.
