DAY 49:

“It is no secret that our thoughts oftentimes command our attention. So, what are you thinking about? Is it distracting you from what is important, from what the Bible tells us to think on?

“Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things” (Philippians 4:8).

Wrong thinking can take you on a downward spiral that does not seem to stop! These thoughts are mostly from emotions, feelings, disappointments, insecurities, grief, pride, excitement, joy, and a host of other things that have taken root and have become the beliefs and fixation of our hearts and minds, whether they be beneficial to growing in God and having triumphant victory or not..

In this passage, Paul is not simply suggesting that we do this, he is stating it strongly and commanding!! As Christians, we tend to think more about the “Thou shalt nots” and overlook the commands that are more about the heart and mind, which is where the real struggle is! Satan knows how to wage war in your mind, but God has given us the strategy and remedy to overcome!! Call 1-877-843-4567 today for prayer to surrender the thoughts that have paralyzed your focus on God and your growth in Him..!!” ~David E. Taylor~
