DAY 138:

“For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this; Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another,”(Galatians 5:14-15).

What a message for today!! God is love and everything He does starts and finishes with love!! Despite God’s instruction to love above knowledge and His warning if we don’t, we continue to see many relationships, in the world and in the church, that start out with good intentions and even look like love, but the true condition of their heart is quickly exposed when things happen that contradict the way they feel, what they expect, or what they think should or should not happen, because their love is immature and incomplete… which keeps them unprocessed and incomplete too.

Anytime there is a lack of love there will be failure, breakdown, and destruction. Satan gets in and provokes the flesh to fight flesh, and over time, the biting and devouring consumes the flesh and thereby steals, kills, and destroys the hearts and souls of men… This behavior saddens and grieves our Father!!

Do not let anything or anyone ever cause you to make love your least or last option. God says it should be first! When you put love second, you take God out of first place in your heart and actions, and you put Him last.. you put love last too… and it takes LOVE to WIN where it really counts..!!” David E. Taylor
