DAY 82:

“Surrendering Your Life to Live Solely for Christ Attracts Persecution – But the REWARDS are GREATER!

“Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution,” (2 Timothy 3:12).

The Bible doesn’t tell us that as soon as we surrender our will and life to follow Jesus and do God’s will that it will be all sunshine and roses.. It’s very clear that ALL who will live godly in Christ will suffer persecution.

You can’t be bamboozled by deceived folks who believe, and even profess, that everyone who is facing persecution must be doing something wrong. On the contrary, many are living more godly than the majority of 21st Century Church cares to acknowledge. They just don’t want to live for God on the same level that many others have chosen, like those that are being persecuted, so it is easier to jump on the band wagon instead of looking in the mirror and assessing their own hearts and way of living.

Satan is our enemy.. no matter how many times he transforms into an angel of light, he is filled with hatred toward all who love the Lord and who are living godly in Christ.. These are the people that are a threat to him and his wicked schemes. These are the people that he will focus his greatest persecution on. So the next time you see someone enduring persecution, realize they are most likely living godly in Christ!!

Many of you in the church need to stop being part of the persecution against those that are living godly and start seeing where you are blind in this area, because of religiousness, self-righteousness, a lack of divine understanding, and putting the law of God above the love of God!!

“Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness’ sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven,” (Matthew 5:10).

If you are being persecuted for righteousness’ sake, be encouraged and blessed, yours is the kingdom of heaven!! Hallelujah!! Keep living godly in Christ Jesus my friends..!!”
