DAY 77:

“Contrary to the opinions of many, hope is not just a fantasy, it is an anchor for our souls. Jehovah is the God of hope!!

“Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost,” (Romans 15:13).

I’m certain that everyone has experienced days, seasons, and some even years of hopelessness. Most likely because of the things that you have faced and endured throughout your lifetime. However, our hopeless experiences do not mean that God does not or will not restore our hope… He will… so that we will abound in hope, through the power of His Spirit!

I have heard people, even in the church, saying that they don’t have hope that things will change. They think that if they don’t expect good things, they won’t be disappointed if they don’t happen. That mindset is so sad to me, because it contradicts God’s character and keeps people in self-inflicted bondage.

God longs to manifest His goodness in our lives. He doesn’t force Himself on us, but He expects our love, trust, faith, hope, strength, and expectation to be in Him!! Do not let the enemy influence your mind and heart and corrupt your belief in the God of Hope!! If he can steal your hope, he destroys the manifestation of your expectation.

Hope is such a powerful weapon against the devil, which is why he comes prowling to devour it every chance he gets. Hope gives you the ability to endure and persevere through the contradictions and challenges the enemy throws your way.

My prayer for you today is that God will fill you with all joy and peace in believing, and that you may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost and that you will also become a greater source of hope, joy, and peace to your brothers and sisters who are feeling hopeless!! The God of Hope is your Refuge and Strength..!”
