DAY 68:

“Are You Following God’s Leading?

“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths,” (Proverbs 3:5-6).

I know this is one of the most popularly quoted passages of scripture we hear today. However, it is not enough to acknowledge Him, if we are not following the direction God gives to our paths.

Just because things look godly, doesn’t mean that it is His direction for your divine destiny. Many people are praying for God to lead and to guide them, but are not really in tune with what He is saying about their divine direction and connections. Often times this is because they are conditioned to the traditions and expectations of what looks successful, not only before their families and pastors, but also before the world.

People forget that God is really saying He will direct their paths, but because they assume that what they are doing and where they are going looks like God would approve, then He must be directing them.

This happens to more people than you can imagine, because they will not wait patiently or pursue God’s genuine leading and direction for their lives. It is another way the devil deceives and steals, kills, and destroys divine destiny’s. While people can be happy and live what is seemingly a beautiful life, they are still missing the fulness of the life, purpose, and destiny God planned for them from before the foundation of the world.

When your trust and surrender are completely in the Lord and you acknowledge Him in every area of your life, even if His leading is different than what you desire in that moment.. He will allow you to see the limitations of your own plan and path, so you can live according to and fulfill, His exceedingly – abundantly – above all you can ask, think, or even imagine – possibilities and promises for your divinely purposed life..!”
