DAY 55:

“Jesus taught His disciples the beatitudes, because He knew their character would be developed to bring transformation and victory in every area of their life.

“Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy,” (Matthew 5:7).

The Lord wants us to develop the beatitudes today so we can also develop the right character and be transformed too! Jesus tells us to be merciful, because that is the only way we will obtain God’s mercy. If you don’t give mercy, the Lord will not give it to you in this life, or in the one to come.

Too many Christians believe that they can treat people any kind of way and still obtain God’s mercy, but I am telling you, that is not true! I know this, because when Jesus took me to hell, I saw many Christians were burning. I could hear them crying out, “Why am I here? I lived righteously and served God my whole life!” However, they were forgetting one thing… if you do not show mercy and forgive others, God will not forgive you.

I saw one church mother that served God for 80 years, but she was in hell, because she did not forgive her son for something he did to her just a few years before she died. People who struggle with unforgiveness are literally playing with fire. Unforgiveness is comparable to blasphemy of the Holy Spirit, which God will not forgive in this life or the next.

Friends, I pray that you will return to God and allow Him to show you the places in your heart where unforgiveness is present, so that you can repent and obtain God’s mercy and grace to be transformed and victorious in every area of your life..!”
