DAY 52:

“Don’t Retaliate, Let Love Radiate!

“Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing,” (1 Peter 3:9).

We are in God’s season of Rosh Hashanah and I encourage you not to “go through the motions” of self-inspection. Remember, while you are seeking God and asking Him to forgive you and to command a blessing over your life for the next 12 months, ask yourself how you are treating your husband, wife, pastor, boss, children, neighbor?? Do you have unforgiveness? Do you have offence?

Don’t miss the Lord’s visitation in this time! Don’t approach this high holy feast passively, and expect to be abundantly blessed. I see some of you who are still holding on to what someone did to you, in turn you are holding on to unforgiveness and offense, which will lead to hatred and betrayal if you do not choose LOVE and forgive!! In this season, you must ruthlessly choose to turn from your wicked ways and truly repent. It is Satan that is in those little things that spoil the vine, the things that are emotionally driven, to satisfy your flesh and not your spirit!! Father is looking for a contrite spirit.. that He will not despise!

God will not overlook His Word!! His Word will never pass away!! He commands us to forgive. If you are struggling with forgiveness or with a desire “to get someone back,” it is not coming from God! Unforgiveness is not His address.

“And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins,” (1 Peter 4:8).

God’s love covers a multitude of sin, because it was His love that sent Jesus to the Cross to take on the sins of the world. Love made Him do that and His Word commands us to love one another as He has loved us… so we can’t think it is ever ok to keep walking in unforgiveness with others who have hurt us in any way.

“And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you,” (Ephesians 4:32).

Remember, it is better for us to GIVE than to receive… Why? because in God’s Kingdom, you can’t give without receiving…!”
