DAY 48:

“It is Time to Age Spiritually!

God can’t release fulness to you until you are mature enough to understand and handle it. Maturity doesn’t have to do with your placement, it has to do with your application. You can walk with Jesus and not apply what He says.

“Of whom we have many things to say, and hard to be uttered, seeing ye are dull of hearing. For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat. For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe. But strong meat belongeth to them that are of full age, even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil,” (Hebrews 5:11-14).

You must continuously pursue the person and heart of God to really mature. If you are too busy speaking, you won’t perfect hearing God, therefore you will not speak new revelation for the people to hear.

Your intake of the Word is more important than your output. When you neglect the intake, your hearing become dull. Studying advances you more rapidly, but if you spend more time speaking or preaching, you will become slow to learn.

You can’t rely solely on what another person is preaching or teaching, for you to become mature and of full age in the Spirit. It is what YOU study, that speeds you up! Do not confuse the increase you may be experiencing in your mind and believe your spirit is also maturing. If you don’t study for yourself, your spirit will not mature. The more time you spend in the natural, the less you mature and age spiritually.
