DAY 266:

“When Christians walk in the flesh, they are basically functioning as babies. The sad thing is, many “Christians” have been saved for 5, 10, 15, 20, 30, 50, 70 or more years, and still operate in the flesh over the spirit and continue to misunderstand the things God is trying to do in their church, family, ministry, and business, because they are not mature enough to even hear the greater and deeper things of God.

Sadly, a large population of Christians are content to remain in the baby stage of development. They seek to feed their flesh more than their spirit. Just give them some more milk so they can nap, sleep through the night, and be cuddled every time they fuss or are uncomfortable. They can’t stomach the meat of the word because they need to chew it, swallow it, and then digest it. Imagine being 35 years old and still only able to drink milk?! Milk for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks! Milk on your birthday, Thanksgiving, and Christmas..??

‘And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men?’ (1 Corinthians 3:1-3).

Babies are carnal and do not desire to grow spiritually. They still want to be taught, when they should be teaching others to be disciples of Christ and to do the will of God!

‘For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat,’ (Hebrews 5:12).

If you are going to be a world changer Christian, you have to come out of the play pen!! Nobody is groaning for the manifestation of the babes in Christ, the whole earth is groaning for the manifestation of the sons of God!! It is time to eat and digest the meat of God’s Word and grow up and mature in the spirit! Milk alone will leave you deceived to the dimensions of God’s heart and ways and it will not bring you to the place of growth to work directly with the Father. Friends, I pray you become so hungry for the deeper things of God, eat the meat of His Word, and grow into the full stature of a son of God.. He has given you the power to do so..!”
