DAY 263:

“David was anointed by Samuel to be King when he was a teenager, and the Spirit of the Lord took control of David from that day forward, but the manifestation of the appointment came much later.

‘Then Samuel took the horn of oil, and anointed him in the midst of his brethren: and the Spirit of the Lord came upon David from that day forward…’ (1 Samuel 16:13).

Maybe many of you have been anointed and have a strong calling to do something revolutionary for God, but your current circumstances and surroundings are not conducive to allow you to walk in the fulness of that anointing. I want to encourage you to stay in faith during the “wait,” because even though you may not see it or understand it, God is preparing you for the “weight” of your appointment! Do not let the devil deceive you or cause you to stray away from God’s call and the anointing on your life and destiny. Waiting is part of the divine process and purpose.

The anointing usually comes before the manifestation of the appointment.. because Father God surely knows best! He knows what will happen if we are prematurely occupying a position we are not prepared for and the devastation it can cause for us and other people, and how it can hinder His Kingdom. If you find yourself waiting, pursue God and His discipline, remember that He is faithful in all things concerning you, and His promises shall surely manifest! Stay surrendered to His plan, and trust His process that is preparing you to possess your divine position, identity, and destiny… and possess royal victory..!”
