DAY 25:

“How do you pray?

Have you become complacent, familiarly and ritually repeating or singing the Lord’s prayer? It is true that it is widely known and memorized among millions, but is it in you? Is the meat and message of how Jesus told us to pray, how you are praying? Let’s look at how Jesus instructed us to pray:

” After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen,” (Matthew 6:9-13).     

•    Are you revering the Father?    

 •   Are you praying His kingdom come?     

•    Are you praying His will be done?     

•    Are you requesting and receiving your daily bread?     

•    Are you forgiving your debtors??? So you can be forgiven?    

 •   Are you praying against temptations and to delivered from evil Obviously, your circumstances will vary from other people’s, but the theme of how to pray is what is important. Many are praying amiss, because they are praying their own will and their own desires instead of asking for God’s. 

Friends, your own will and desires will never give you more than God’s will for your life. He is a good good Father!! He knows what you need and He also knows what you desire, and whether or not it is good for you or not!! That is why you must pray God’s kingdom come and His will be done in your life, without forfeiting your need to forgive those who have done you wrong, so that you too can be forgiven and your prayers can be answered!!

“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you,”(Matthew 6:33).

By seeking God’s kingdom FIRST, all the other things will be added to you!! God’s standard of order is vital in your life, purpose, and destiny!
