DAY 242:

“Pursue Persistence in Prayer and Prevail!

‘By long forbearing is a prince persuaded, and a soft tongue breaketh the bone,’ (Proverbs 25:15).

Some of the trials you face in your destiny will take you wrestling night and day in the courts of heaven and by perseverance or “long forbearing” you will win the day! As you stand your ground and petition heaven day and night the accuser of the brethren will be broken. Jesus referenced this kind of wrestle with the widow who took her case to an unjust judge. The judge did not want to deal with her case, however, she was persistent and “wrestled” by going before him day after day, until he became exhausted and finally gave in!

‘And there was a widow in that city; and she came unto him, saying, Avenge me of mine adversary. And he would not for a while: but afterward he said within himself, Though I fear not God, nor regard man; Yet because this widow troubleth me, I will avenge her, lest by her continual coming she weary me,’ (Luke 18:3-5).

The widow did not win because she had a good case.. In fact, the judge did not want to hear it. “AND HE WOULD NOT FOR A WHILE,” but she got the judge’s attention because of her persistence. Friends, pursue to be persistent!! Keep persevering and prevailing in prayer, and making your petitions before God until He judges your case because He is not an unjust judge – He is a good judge..!”
