DAY 220:

“It has become commonplace to allow anger to harbor within the hearts of believers and unbelievers alike. However, as Christians, we should follow the pattern of the Father. He is slow to anger. Take inventory and honestly assess yourself.. do you get angry easy and stay angry too long??

‘ Be ye angry, and sin not: let not the sun go down upon your wrath: Neither give place to the devil,’ (Ephesians 4:26-27).

‘Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not thyself in any wise to do evil,’ (Psalm 37:8).

When anger replaces your forgiveness toward others, it gives Satan an advantage over you and causes you to stumble in your love walk. Not only that, but if he can keep you operating in anger, offense, and unforgiveness, he knows God will not be able to forgive you. There are always going to be opportunities for us to either choose to stay angry or to forgive and release that anger and stay in peace! It is really time for the Body of Christ to mature in love and resist the devil’s temptations to operate in our flesh, instead of dying daily to it, and living abundantly in the freedom we so graciously received on Calvary!! When someone upsets and offends you.. learn to get over it quickly by developing a heart and mind like Jesus’.. meek, lowly, and forgiving and stay in the powerful place of rest and peace..!”
