DAY 204:

“How Can Two Walk Together – Unless They Agree?

‘Can two walk together, except they be agreed?’ (Amos 3:3).

This scripture is most often referenced concerning marriage in our generation, but earthly marriage should not precede our relationship with the Lord. Our first walk and agreement should be with God. How can we say we follow after God but are not in agreement with Him?

You can’t be in agreement with some things that God says and not others. You must eat the whole loaf not just the parts that taste good to you or that are easy to swallow. A lot of “Christians” are deceived because they can only see the parts they agree with God about, but they fail to see the areas they are in division with Him in, and they don’t realize they are not walking closer with the Lord, but drifting further away.

This revelation should not be subject and limited to marriage only.. like most preachers and teachers teach today. If you desire to walk closer to God you need to be in agreement with Him.. even in the things you have not yet searched out..!! Enoch walked with God and was no more.. His walk and agreement were so close to God that God didn’t allow him to see death.

‘And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him,’ (Genesis 5:24).

‘By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God,’ (Hebrews 11:5).

When God is first in your life and your pursuit to walk with Him is greater than your walk with anyone else, you will constantly and relentlessly go after any possible place that you are not following after and being in agreement with Him in.

My prayer for you reading this today, is that you will boldly and fearlessly face yourself and find where you are in division with God and with who He has placed over you to watch over your soul and teach you His ways.. I don’t want you to be deceived and think you are in a place with God that you are not. I want you to make time to change your heart and character to endure and truly walk in agreement with the Lord..!”
