DAY 202:

“Don’t Give Up – It is time to GET UP!!

‘For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures,’ (1 Corinthians 15:3-4).

Although we just finished celebrating the Resurrection of Jesus and the Passover Feast, I sense many people have decided to sit back down and accept a position of defeat, rather than receiving the victory Jesus won for them over 2,000 years ago!!

I don’t care how defeated you think you look to other people.. Jesus paid the price for your victory.. not just for you to have eternal life after you die, but for you to have abundant life and complete victory right here – right now!

Why are you sitting down on your victory? Why are you accepting defeat? Friends, you can’t give up, you must get up and get busy! You can’t be salt and light sitting in a state of darkness and defeat.

So what if you have made mistakes, if you have been stoned and persecuted by self-righteous religious folks… The greater truth is that you have been delivered, set free, and made new by the Resurrection Power of God and the Blood of Jesus!!

After Jesus was resurrected, He appeared to Cephus, the twelve, the 500, James, and Paul – who said that he was least worthy – because he was persecuting the church.. (1 Corinthians 15:5-7). My point is, no matter how bad you think you are or how many people don’t want to see you succeed.. When you accept Jesus as your Savior, He gives you the victory over sin and failure and fills you with the same resurrection power that raised Him from the dead so you can get up too!!

Jesus did not stay out of view after it looked like He was defeated on the Cross!! He rose up in Victory.. He let the world know HE IS ALIVE!! Get up and let your enemies know that you are alive and well, and that you are about your father’s business! What the enemy meant for your harm.. God has already worked out for your good..!”
