DAY 162:

“For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain,” (Philippians 1:21).

The world will always try to make you think that serving God is you losing something, but the truth is, when you find Christ, you find the ultimate life and true freedom! God never loses!!

Contrary to popular opinion, surrendering the pleasures of your flesh will not kill you!! In fact, it will build you and cause you to enter into a dimension with God, where nothing is lacking!!

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts,” (Isaiah 55:8-9).

God’s ways and thoughts are so much higher than ours. You can’t expect to understand who God is or what His exceedingly great plans and rewards are for you, based on the world’s standard or way of thinking what success, gain, loss, life, and death really are… if you do, you will experience a limited quality of life on earth because you will never know who you really are or what you were made to become and do!!

Our true existence is dependent upon God!! We can’t do anything without Him. Do not be deceived by the glitz and glamour of temporal success, fame, and fortune… set your affection on things above and find eternal life and victory..!”
